This 18th-century coaching inn is in the quiet village of Clapham, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. It has original character, free parking, a good restaurant and 2 bars.
The New Inn Hotel is off the A65 Leeds to Kendal/Lake District Road. It is 6 miles from Settle and 1.25 miles from Clapham (North Yorkshire) Rail Station.
The inn was built in 1776 and has many original features. The rooms are decorated in a traditional style and have TVs, telephones, hairdryers, work desks and tea/coffee.
A full English breakfast is available each day and the New Inn also has a Residents' Lounge.
The restaurant serves modern and traditional dishes, made using fresh, local ingredients. The milk, cream, eggs ice cream and real ales are all produced locally.
